Which reminds me, I'm in a really bad mood today, so I must apologize for the tone of my previous note. Chalk it up to jet lag. I've been all over the freakin' country lately, and changes to the network are a hell of a way to start the week. Bleh. :-/

Heh. Do a Google search for 802.1X or EAP or EAPOL (Extensible Authentication Protocol [Over LANs]). You'll see mostly wireless stuff, but the exact same principles can be applied to a physical Ethernet port. Very cool.
