Congratulations.
Like everyone else says, a baby is a LOT of work, but the experience is
extremely rewarding. My recommendation is to get very involved (e.g.
changing daipers, feeding the baby, putting them to sleep, comforting
them when they cry, wiping up the milky puke, etc, etc). I was forced
into doing this by my wife, and at the time I really didn't enjoy it,
but now I have a really great bond with my kids, which I count as one of
the great treasures in my life.
