Actually, I can imagine it quite easily. Or better still, buying or building dual- or trio-boot systems. Better still than that, Windows and MacOS X running in VMWare instances on my Linux machine! Woo hoo! :-D

Seriously, I'm going the VMWare route. But as far as market share is concerned, Windows is already losing market share to Linux, particularly in the server market, and to MacOS X in the desktop market. Look at the strategic goals and the motivational speeches given by Microsoft execs lately "throwing down the gauntlet" against Linux. They're threatened. Jobs' move makes perfect sense. He smells blood in the water. Not to mention the fact that I'm sure he wants to take back the empire he once had that ol' Billy stole using Windows 3.1.

Remember, Jobs + PIXAR = Finding Nemo. "Gates is food, not friend!"

Anyway, I'm going to send VMWare an e-mail and ask about MacOS X support on their Intel Workstation product. That would so totally kick all possible ass. I'm going to need another memory upgrade... :-P
