And even if I were to grant you that Python doesn't suffer from "such
problems" -- that, my friend, is the /least/ of the problems from which
Python *does* suffer, besides being in a perpetual state of Perl-envy.
Put that way I can't help but snipe back. ;)

At least Python is a real programming language unlike Perl. Perl is
hidious and only exists to let system admins pretend that they know how
to program. Nobody with a real background in programming would use such
a horrible language on purpose. All I can say is that THANK GAWD Python
isn't like Perl. I've turned down Perl jobs even when I really needed
the work. I hate it almost as much as crappy languages like VB or Cobol.
