Linux experts,

I ran into some trouble in a RH9 box with two disks configured as RAID 1
array. One disk failed, and of course it had to be /dev/hda. So the intact
RAID disk with the redundant data is hdb, but it can't boot. I have done the
following steps:

1) Move hdb to hda. So now the non-booting disk with the intact RAID
partitions is /dev/hda.

2) Add a new /dev/hdb

3) Create the necessary partitions on /dev/hdb to match hda.

I think I know how to raidhotadd hdb partitions so that the array recovers.
BUT...

how do I get hda to boot? I know that I need to install the grub bootloader.
My problem is when I boot from CD in rescue mode, the drives are not properly
mounted. I can't find the install images or similar problems show up.

Could anybody please give me a detailed step-by-step instruction how to get
the box bootable?

Many thanks,
Mark
