DefaultColorDepth 24

in your Depth 24 subsection

add this line

Modes "EMAIL:PROTECTED" "EMAIL:PROTECTED"

How would one go about setting an odd resolution using xorg? 
Specifically, I have a VMware session that I'd like to run at 1274x1017, 
but adding that to the xorg.conf file doesn't appear to be enough to 
have that option show up.
