So I found out some information...

I called Tranquility, and Hunter told me that if I were living in
Sprint service areas, I could potentially get a frame relay for as low
as $350 per month. Not a bad price, but unfortunately I miss Sprint by
a 1/4 mile. He said since I live in Southwestern Smell Land (SBC),
they would have to charge me up around $1,000 for the service per
month.

Enter SBC. I called them and they said they could get me a Fractional
T-1 connection for $500 per month, including a router and all set-up,
(no additional charges). They said a full T-1 would cost me $550 per
month again, no additional charges.

When I consider Satellite will cost me $99 per month in that area,
plus I have web hosting costs currently of an additional $120 per
month, and I am currently paying $79 per month for DSL, it is clear to
me the T-1 is not a bad option.

I think it might be poosible for me to get my employer to pick up the
other part of the charge, so this might work out.
