My parents, when I was out there were getting MASSIVELY slow
everything, request, download, etc. Downloading at 5k a second, at
BEST, is a bad sign. I don't know if that's improved lately, but I
remember when I was out there for Christmas, I could hardly even use
their connection. I almost borrowed the phone lines to dial in, as I
felt that would have been faster. I mean, right after that they
managed to get the satellite adjusted slightly, which helped a bit, but
it's still a major pain.
