OK first off, not sure why the double post?  But oh well...

Anyway I've successfully booted off of USB 2.0, but I *have* had issues 
with the drivers causing kernel panics in other circumstances.  One 
PowerEdge I had would panic whenever a USB drive was unplugged, even if 
the drive was unmounted and the modules were unloaded...
