I'd be happy to help. I helped with some Installfests with the Denver
LUG. They can be lots of fun.

This doesn't seem to be off-topic.
There are some rooms on the second floor of Memorial Union that have
lots of space and can be furnished with plenty of folding tables. I
believe these rooms can be reserved, and since the ACM is an MU
organization I do not see any problems with getting permission to use
these rooms. They might be pretty booked, though.
I think the suggestion to have LOTS of live CDs is a good one. Ubuntu is
a great for new users. SimplyMepis is another easy entry-level live
distro. In addition to this, I would suggest providing plenty of copies
of the OpenCD to help users' migration to the new OS. Have you guys
targeted any full distributions?
Does anybody from the group have suggestions for easy full distros aimed
at new users?
Matt
