I use a Linksys and never have taken it to the library. I do know that
when I have had the problems of not pulling an IP, it was always the WEP
key.

I believe the 2 LEDs on the 108Mbs Netgear WG511T
blink at the same time if you have the correct freq,
mode, key, and essid.

they were blinking together.
plus my windows laptop wouldn't be able
to get online if there was a restricted WEP key.
