Hello,
I have gentoo on my system - and I have been having an issue getting OpenGL to
work. I run X 6.8.0 and have the ati radeon 9800 128mb video card. I am using
the radeon driver with X but it seems that with X6.8.0 the ati drivers do not
work with OpenGL. I am unable to run glxgears and such and it seems that this
is a rather common issue but I have been unable to find a solution other than
to downgrade X to 6.7.0
I was wondering if anyone had encountered this problem and if anyone knew if
there was an alternate solution than downgrading to 6.7 - I'd rather avoid
recompiling X if possible.
