I hadn't thought about security, and it's good to think about it, but why
would it be easier to hide something in the /usr/local/bin tree than in
the /usr/local/bin directory? Mine is full of tons of files. Oh - is it
because root has to be careful about keeping all of those subdirectories
write permissions set to deny all other users from creating files there?
That is a good point.
