thanks everyone. i had cpanel configured to call my cell phone or email
my sprint account for a while. but the server that was running crashed
every 2 days. so, my phone was constantly slammed with 3-5 messages. it
was crazy. we're dumping that web host, so i'll loose the email warnings.

i'll check those out. i'm also wading through freshmeat right now.
