I'm sure someone else will have a better answer, but it seems to me that
adding silence between tracks can only be accomplished in two ways: (1)
by adding a short, silent track that lasts 5-10 seconds, or (2) adding
silence to the end of each of the first n-1 tracks on the CD. The problem
with "1" is that it adds tracks and messes up your track-numbering system.
The problem with "2" is that you have to edit the MP3 or WAV file to add
some silence at the end. I would think that this is a common problem and
that some CD burning programs have an automatic way of doing this ("2"),
but I am not familiar enough with such programs to help you.
