Setting up a firewall box, and had a quick question. I didn't even think of this, as it's one of the first times I'm NOT doing NAT. Does the internal network card need an ip address that's public to the internet? If not, how does a machine in the internal network get out? What would it's router be? I'm assuming the firewall box itself.
This happens to be an OS X Server box, although it's of course BSD based, and thus using ipfw. Anyone have any suggestions/comments on this configuration?
Does the internal network card need a separate IP address that's on the same subnet as the "attackable" ip address?

On another note entirely, I've got a PowerMac G4 up for sale. It's a G4 400Mhz, 320MB Ram, pretty sure it's got a 30GB HD (I have to check here later), brand new DVD ROM, 17" SGI high end monitor, ATI Radeon AGP graphics (thus, using quartz extreme), mac keyboard/intellmouse mouse, etc. etc. It's a pretty sweet system overall. I'm asking for 550/obo. Anyone interested, drop me an email off list.

Thanks!
Jason
