See message below from GNU coreutils guy. I find that this command...
getconf ARG_MAX
...gives me "1048320" on Solaris and only "131072" on Red Hat Linux.
Maybe this is something I can configure.
I'll write to the coreutils guy again. I assume his message, cc'd to this
list, was not delivered.
