Ah, but here you're wrong.   When Matt originally introduced the topic, 
he was talking about not just connecting, but USING both the Up pipe and 
Down pipe.  That is stealing.  It's packet/bandwidth/stealing, and the 
owner loses MUCH, both in the way of bandwidth, and in fact that you 
just caused that person to violate their agreements (unbeknownst to 
them) with their provider.

You've also made the other subscribers on that 'hub' suffer as they are 
all sharing a very LIMITED up pipe.

There are damages.  There is stealing.  It is Wrong.

Btw.. I've just LOVED the word Unbeknownst ever since SpaceBalls.  I'm 
probably spelling it wrong...  Thunderbird doesn't like it.
