He used a cantana to access the network and take some documents. He
still accessed the network without permission (The First Charge). Then
he tried to use the famous " I was just doing it so they know it can
be done" tactic.

My point is that you might be able to get on an open network and
access the Internet, but what stops that person from saying you stole
all of their data? How are you going to prove that you didn't? Log
files are pretty easy to forge to say that you did.

In the end Is the free Internet really worth the potential cost?
