Those are good suggestions, but they give me even more reason to believe 
ls with case insensitivity is something that people would use, and it 
would not be all that hard to make ls insensitive.  Insensitivity is 
implemented in 'locate', therefore, people must have wanted it.

Maybe the problem is that ls already has -i and -I options!  We need a 
different letter and we're almost out of letters.
