Hey all... I have a few issues with my home server talking with my
workstations... My workstations are craping out on samba connections
after a random amount of time with active files still open... only
change that is major is that I have setup a simple raid 1 array..
Anyone know or have similar issues between two miss matched drives....
Specks as follows... btw... md0 is a non issue...
Gentoo 2.6.8
Raid 1 between two Maxtor Drives (one 7200 the other 5400 both 80 Gig)
hdparm -d1 -u1 -c1 -k1 -m16 -a64 -A1 on both /dev/hdc -and- /dev/hdb

is not an issue it is the boot partition and one disk is "gone"
unused devices: <none>
Any suggestions or ideas welcome :)
