It should work with SSH X-forwarding. I know I've done it before. I'll
try again and report back... I can't ssh into bengal at the moment for
some reason. Looks like it's hanging during the public-key exchange
step (before it asks for my password).
Oh, and sympathy about the other stuff. (The airport security model:
inconvenience==security. I remember hearing "The ssh client has been
removed from the lab machines for security reasons.")
If your lab relies on Win98 (or win 3.1 or MS-DOS for that matter) it
seems like that should be respected, and alternative security could be
satisfied with a external firewall or something. So much for the "S" in
IATS.
