Uh...because I'm guessing they don't want that (and I'm up against my
quota on bengal anyway)?

Dunno, but there have been like a bazillion security exploits against
it in the past, and it might be the only mail reader around on bengal,
so getting rid of it gets bengal out of the mail business. I know *I*
don't want to be in the mail business, so I have substantial sympathy
with the idea.

Maybe that's possible, but I kind of doubt it since we're talking
about an MS Exchange server somewhere, not bengal itself.

Seriously, I can (alas) think of a lot of good reasons not to
encourage mail use on bengal, prime among them people like me.
