Unofficial message from your Friendly Bengal Systems
Administrator: There was a switch to Red Hat Enterprise Linux on new hardware
over the weekend. We have been running the nodes for http services for a
few weeks now. Samba services were switched to new nodes last
week. Interactive services were switched over Saturday night/Sunday
morning around midnight.
If you all see anything funky, let me know or call the IATS
HelpDesk. Most if not all of you are pretty saavy Linux users, so you'll
be able to spot glaring problems better than Joe Averageuser who connects only
with Samba.
Thanks and sorry for any problems we caused!

Subject: [MLUG] Did
the RSA key on bengal change recently?
So there I was, innocently ssh-ing into my bengal account when
I get
our favorite "warning, there could be a man in the middle
attack
ongoing or else they just messed with the RSA key".
So did
bengal change, or is somebody being naughty? I tried to check
the
iats web site (and the bengal info) but saw nothing
compelling.
Thanks.
