That is the similar machine to what currently I have, and unfortunately,
the answer is no.  I tried it on my machine, and the game barely loaded
the first menu.  I then tried to start a game and it crashed halfway
through the intro video.

The game requires a minimum of a 1.5GHz Intel or a 2500 Athelon.

I am interested in Doom III, but my main machine is a PIII 1 gig 512mb
Ram, I have a supurb sound card and speakers, Creative Audigy 2, Boston
Acoustics BA 9600, and an ATI Radeon 9600 XT vid card.
Do you think that it has enough umph to run it?
