Michael, I am curious about how you break up swap across multiple disk
partitions. Sure, I can create as many Linux swap partitions as a drive

If I am remembering correctly, linux will automagically distribute swap
usage across several swap instances. So if you have 3 swap partitions
on different disks, the kernel does a sort of software raid without any
intervention.

I remember reading that tidbit somewhere long ago, but I don't use linux
anymore, so I've lost touch and it may have changed.
