Maybe you need to Flash your BIOS...Are you getting any
signs of life from your machine when you hit the power button? Don't
forget to check the on board battery and power connections running to the board
itself. I've seen board batteries go bad and create havoc like
this.
just my 2 cents From: EMAIL:PROTECTED [mailto:EMAIL:PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Fallert, Adam Christian Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 8:54 AM To: MLUG Members Subject: [MLUG] Does any have a old chip and Motherboard Does anyone have an old p2, p3 or
AMD equivalent and corresponding motherboard you would like to get rid of?
My dedicated Linux box at home somehow got zapped during my move into a new
house. Basically, I powered it down, moved it by car, let it sit for a
couple weeks, and now it won’t post upon power up.
I am desperate. I have a lot
of files on there that I need access to soon. Thanks in
advance Adam _______________________________________ |
