I'd agree with this, I have a GeForce2 MX.  It was only $40 when I got
it a few years ago and its still going just fine.  No problem's running
any desktop apps and it runs Tux Racer fine.  Nvidia's drivers have
always worked great for me.  I said get the cheapest Nvidia card you can
find.
