I'm not saying that there's not a good linux distro that can do all 
that.  I've never worked with arch before.  My experience with linux has 
always been such that the tweaks and dependancies fights are a way of 
life.  I have had no such problems with bsd.  But the fact that it has 
been done on bsd tells me that it is very possible to implement on 
linux.  If it has finally been done, bravo.
