I wouldn't do that. I would put FC2T2 before trying to make FC1 do 2.6

If you can hook up both drives, USB Adapter works well, you can mount
the second drive and use cp -a. You will need to reinstall grub. The
easiest way is to remove the old drive, boot fedore cd in rescue mode.
It will find the new drive and mount it. If your partition layout is the
same you will not have to edit /boot/grub/menu.lst. Then run grub with
chroot to new drive.
