Don't know if this is the right or best way, but it worked for me. Make one
or more new folders under "Local Folders", close Tbird, then
<cat pinembox1 > .../Local Folders/new1>
<cat pinembox2 > .../Local Folders/new2>
for each new folder you want to fill. Mail should show up when you restart
Tbird, then you can sort it in Tbird as desired.
Or, I'm pretty sure it will also work to redirect cat straight into individual
Tbird account inboxes, sent, drafts, etc. that you've set up --don't see why
not, but when I did this, the mail wasn't presorted so conveniently, so I
didn't try.
Tbirds default mail folders should be under $HOME/.thunderbird , unless you
specified somewhere else.
Cheers,
Dave
