I went to MoneyDance.com and it looks more like a personal finance 
manager as opposed to a small business/non-profit accounting package.  
Basically, I'm looking for something more along the lines of QuickBooks 
as opposed to Quicken or MS Money.

MoneyDance is Quicken compatible, written in java, and does 
Mac/Windows/Linux.
