You might look through the Google archive of the Dell Linux Poweredge
mail list (linked below, this is a regular topic there), but I think
what you're really looking at here is: backup, install
(format/configure), restore. Bare metal stuff. If this is a production
box that can't be off-line, using a stand-in machine for the duration of
the upgrade will be your best bet. Rsync is your friend.
