I own an old Sun Ultra 2 - dual 168 MHz and 640 MB RAM. I bought a newer
Sun Ultra 2 to replace it - dual 300 MHz and 1 GB RAM. I was hoping I
could just take the HD out of the old machine and put it into the new one.
I made sure the NVRAM settings were the same (except for settings that
ought to be different), but when I try to boot the new machine with the
drive in there, it says it can't find the boot device. If I run
probe-scsi from the ok prompt, it does nothing. Any clues?
Mike
