subtitled: Is there a linux gene??
Just some rambling thoughts, and I do mean rambling.
I'm forced to stay on xp because of business constraints, (my husbands
favorite words, you know you have to get those taxes done, my silent
reply----nope completely unaware of it, thought it was still December,
ready to deck the halls) but I don't say things like that anymore and
that's whay we are still married.
Anyway they came out with gimp 2.0.0. happy days are here again.
And I get to make it work on cygwin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't been at it very long but have found out what unmet
dependencies I have and I"m off to meet them, tra laa tra laa. I
actually do have confidence I will get this done and soon. If I can do
samba and vpn from linux to windows and vice versa with the freebies I
can do it.
The evening wasn't always like this, I have been entering things into
quickbooks. I downloaded QBSDK earlier today (quickbooks stupid
developing kit, or how to enhance your natural idiocity----maybe it's
starter developer kit??) I could use a prewritten script to add a
customer or and invoice to my quickbooks at the end of two hours. It
wants me to do this with microsoft net and that with visual something or
another. I'm going :-\ and make the sdk add an invoice to my
quickbooks play file. big whoop, I can do that by myself. Wonder how
long it's going to take to uninstall all of it?????
Back to gimp, is there a linux gene??
Teresa
