Ok, we've kinda gotten into three different subjects, so I think we need to separate these out for clarity:

Most important I think is the letter to Congress. We need to make sure our elected imbeciles...err..officials know in their language that anti-Linux legislation would be a bad thing before they actually start implementing such legislation.

Second is the open letter to SCO. I think this could be a useful rallying point for those of us opposed to their abuse of the legal system. It won't change SCO's attitude, but it might stop an attitude of complience from other sources. This would need to focus on the false comments they've made, the behavior of their company, and most importantly their propoganda attacks on Linux.

Third is the open letter to RIAA. This would neccessarily attack their actions rather than their claims. While they may own the music, that does not justify their suing children, or their unfounded claims of "harming" the musicians while their component entities retain almost all of the royalty $'s.

Should the drafts be moved off-list, or do we work on them here?
