That would be more gracious than SCO has been, after all they've been blaming
MyDoom.a/b on the Open Source community, for all they/we know it could have
been one of their own they paid to make it look like it was someone from O/
Source.
But, we could also respond to some of their 'facts' they give about Linux as
well, and how their not supported by anything except MS/SCO paid researchers.
I don't know about the RIAA thing - I can't say I 100% disagree with RIAA
having control over it's music it publishes - but they are going about it the
wrong way - but that's a different topic entirely.
With IBM putting out those commercials for linux I wonder if they would be
willing to listen to some input for their commercials from some LUG(s)? Maybe
we could put in a little word or two there as well and have a little bit of a
public voice over the TV. I don't know how many of you saw the Linux
commercials but I thought they were pretty cool...
What we need is a panel of Linux experts from non-MS influenced groups versus
Bill Gates and the chairman of SCO on a podium - That would be a good old
fashioned shoot out...but SCO/MS would get hurt too badly from something like
that...
