I know I just posted this link last week, but in this case it stands repeating: there is now a community-driven project to continue back-porting security and bug-fixes for older versions of RH:

So, if you're pressed for time, and just want to keep 7.3, you might find what you need there.

Not advocating any approach, but if you like RH and want to stick with it, you have options.
