Yes, they are complete jerks.

A more lengthy discussion of this:

"Separately, SCO yesterday revealed that a court hearing on the IBM lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, scheduled for today, has been postponed until Feb 6. The court had been expected to examine whether SCO had complied with a December court order compelling it to provide meaningful details of how IBM allegedly violated its intellectual property. "

So they couldn't produce evidence, and now they're trying to manipulate congress instead. Someone needs to point out that many very good Linux distributions are European in origin.

SCO's sueing Novell for not playing along.

We represent a few states here, it might not be a bad idea to start writing our Representatives and Senators about this. There are a lot more voters using linux than there are paid by SCO. We're way overdue for exerting some political pressure. Anyone interested in putting our heads together for a single well-worded letter to send?
