You can print over the VPN - I've done exactly that on several occasions. As
long as you have reasonable bandwidth it'll not be a problem.

When you use a VPN both offices will be part of one local network. For
example here we do something like:

Local network 10.1.2.30 - 10.1.2.100
VPN 10.1.2.150 - 10.1.2.200

Of course with multiple branches you might have them on separate subnets but
as long as someone's taking care of your local routing tables, it won't be
an issue.

So your LaserJet would get an IP of, say 10.1.2.155 and you could just print
to that like normal to a jetdirect printer. Bear in mind it'll be a bit
slower than in the local office, but it should work just fine.

Russell.
