One additional thing worth mentioning about it:  That time is stored using
a certain number of bits, at least in C programs, so that it will overflow
at some time in 2038.  It's just like the old y2k problem.  I'll be 80
years old in that year, so I'll just kick back and let you young guys (60
year olds?) deal with that one!
