I have Windows/Cygwin able to bring up GDM from my Linux server and let
me logon to X my normal way that way. Works fine. With the same machine
booted into Linux if I try to use GDM off the server using the same
command line for X all I get is a blank screen (indicating that it is
not in fact connecting to the server). Does anyone have any suggestions
why Linux isn't working? Thanks.
Windows: XWin.exe -query buttercup
Linux: XFree86 -query buttercup
