That is, if I remember the rpmbuild syntax properly and assuming that SuSE uses rpmbuild. You can also install the src rpm, go the /usr/src/SuSE/ (think it's there, may be different dir), find and modify the spec file, and rebuild the rpm by hand. Had to do this with libc a few times to get Oracle working.
