I am attempting to get Java applets to run using Mozilla Firebird.
I have downloaded and installed the Java jre-1.4x and put the line:
ln -s /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_01/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/lib.javaplugin_oji.so
into the MozillaFirebird directory.
I attempted to load a Java app from the web, and it told me that it wanted the
Java Plugin. I installed that from the given link, still nothing.
any ideas?
I running SuSE 8.1 user edition <the same one that was made available to us
from SuSE.
