No, you download the packages and decompile them with the package management system, then compile them just for the sheer pleasure of waiting 4 hours for some rather minor system to come into existance. You have to compile the package management system first, of course. 

And for our next trick, we will send you out into the woods with a rock, and you are to reinvent everything leading up to the modern computer so that your entire computer experience will be optimized to your particular use...
