I'll let the pros tell you about 'should', but you can certainly chain
commodity 8-port hubs/switches together to get many ports. All the boxes
on the LAN can see each other. Put a $40 "share-the-internet" router in
for DHCP service and you're set!
But, this is for a *bank*? I hope my bank doesn't cheap out on their IT
stuff. Of all the information you want securely protected...
