Are you trying to make /boot ReiserFS? Usually I leave that as Ext3
because if the system craps out totally Ext3 is easier to recover (due
to the fact that more tools work with Ext2) and also you have to be
careful with Reiser (and most non-Ext2/3 filesystems) when booting from
them. It should work but maybe that's your problem? Other than that LILO
just shouldn't care what the filesystems are. Also any small partitions
you'll want to leave as Ext3 because ReiserFS takes up a certain amount
of minimum space regardless to how small the filesystem is.
