Using a distro that came with support for ReiserFS they couldn't get it
to work? Why? Is pretty much as simple as marking the filesystem as
Reiser in fstab and formating the partition as Reiser. I assume the
first step didn't fail (and if it did they have worse problems) so
you're saying that formating the filesystem failed? Or did the
filesystem have errors or something?
