Usually, you can use the installed ODBC drivers. I usually setup a
file DSN, make it network sharable, setup a registry script so that
everyone loads the script which sets the File DSN location to that
network path. Then, you use the MyODBC driver (which should have a
common registry name), your file DSN, and you've got a common
configuration for all your applications.
Hope that makes some sense. The thing is, any ODBC driver when
installed should be able to be loaded. You just have to setup the DSN
config stuff to make use of that driver.
