Guys,
So, we have a bunch of Vision Drawings and Excel Spreadsheets that we
are looking to tie into a DBMS so that when we update one (say an excel
spreadsheet) the visio drawing is altered to reflect those changes. Now,
I know that you can connect to an ODBC compliant server through Excel
and Visio. The thing is that I have not been able to find much
information on how. Do I need separate MyODBC driver for Office products
or do I use a specific one currently installed? It doesn't seem like
they have a specific generic ODBC driver but the only one I found that
is not MS is a Oracle ODBC driver. Have any of you ever done this
before? Any help is appreciated.
